Grainger Month. This fact is emphasized by the first official standing announced this week. If ever a race was decided in its very last lap then the J.R. Grainger Month competition is it, for the margins are very small and the remaining fortnight can and, no doubt will develop many changes all along the line. The first official J. R . Grainger Month standing , published on this page, shows R. J . Morrison 's Denverites in first place-just where they said they would be. But permanent occupancy of that throne is dependent entirely on the ability to stand up under the heavy and wholesale assault to which they will be subjected during the current fortnight.
