Selected photographs and documents from the Cinefantastique magazine records. Cinefantastique was an American film periodical covering the genres of horror, fantasy, and science fiction. The magazine was known for its in-depth coverage of the production of key films in these genres. It grew from its roots as a fanzine in 1967 into a quarterly magazine from publisher/editor Frederick S. Clarke beginning in 1970. Cinefantastique ceased print publication in 2006, but was later relaunched online in 2007.
